BOLO: PEACE LUV AND TRAVEL BUG! MISSING!

ALL GEOCACHERS! BE ON ALERT! LOOKING FOR PEACE LUV AND TRAVEL BUG OR GEOCACHER EL_HEFE! IF SPOTTED, TAKE AWAY THEIR GPS UNTIL THEY PROMISE TO PLACE MY BUG!!

Where is the AMBER ALERT when you really freakin' need it!

Oh, and Hi! I know I haven't posted in quite a long time but my husband traded our Garmin GPS out for some other one.... and I don't know how to work it yet so geocaching has been sidelined for me.

I'm still in the Hoo Haa Travel Bug Race though!

Or I thought I was.

But now, my bug might be MIA! It was retrieved after taking a WONDERFUL hop across the Country back in January. I had high hopes, this was a new geocacher who picked it up so I was excited thinking that they would be anxious to drop it quickly.

But alas... here it is April (almost May) and nothing.
I sent them an email via geocaching.com asking them politely to place the bug as it was in a race and I haven't heard anything back.

Peace Luv & Travel Bugs Got a Huge Jump!

Way to go my little happy hippie travel bug! And a huge thanks to John_electron for helping my little bug make it's way across the country in one ginormous jump!

So I think that at least puts me back in the race with some of the top dogs!

Hoo Haa Travel Bug Race and My Bug's Lack of Traveling

Seriously.
My bug has touched 2 hands and only moved once since we started the race. I guess that's what I get for launching it in some random city instead of close to home. I mean seriously, it's Geocaching! Why pick up a bug if you aren't going to place it somewhere else??

Gunny's bug just took a huge leap across the pond (from Japan to California) and I think unless some of our bugs hit international waters, there's not much hope - but I'll still trash talk!

That is, if I could get my bug going so I could at least have something to talk about!!

Stalled

Like my travel bug, my geocaching has stalled.
I blame it on my son and husband.
At least for now.
I WILL RETURN!

The Hippie Has Stalled Out Of The Gates

My poor HooHaa Hippie Travel Bug, I had such high hopes for her as she pulled out of the gates just 7 days after placing her, in a strange town, with no one she knows to come get her.

But it looks like she's stalled in the hands of a geocacher. I'm hoping that they are keeping her around for some awesome drop far, far away. However, more realistically maybe I should just be hoping for a hop into a better spot to get moved faster.

On a serious note, is it rude if I email the cacher asking them to push it along?
